AutoClear Brasstonian Ultras Copper Downspout Clean Outs Leaf and Debris Diverters with New Diverter Plate Design

In the constant effort of Making the Best Products Available World Wide we have improved the ULTRA Rod Pack Design.
In the past we have soldered a Diverter Plate to the back sides of the rods. The purpose of the Diverter Plate was to shave off the water that would actually be flowing down along the back sides of the rods with what is called capillary action. Like when you hose down a window – most of the water kind of sheets down the window and doesn’t bounce off. Same things with rods spaced close together.
The Ideal location for this Diverter Plate is Just Forward of where water flowing onto the Rods hits. If too far back the plate could actually have the water hit the plate and of course bounce and not flow through the rods. Every AutoClear installation condition has its own set of parameters as to how water flows. What works best for one may not be the ideal location for the next. Thus the new Adjustable Position Diverter Plates! Just slide them to where they work the Best!
