Nemours 2 Copper Leader Head Collector Box in Prototype
These Leader Heads are 18″ wide by 10″ deep and 14″ tall. They will have a Scupper Trough attached to the back that will be 8″ long. The order calls for 5 but they want 2 ASAP. Started this from scratch on Tuesday. So all new design work to figure out the blanks. New Fixtures to cut and miter the blanks. Moving along pretty good for all aspects. This profile is about 2-1/2″ taller than the Original Nemours…and we really like the new look.
Ok. They are Fabricated and ready for Final Cleanup….
The Scupper Trough is supposed to be 3″ tall by 12″ wide by 8″ long…we added 5/16″ to it in height so that the Trough top edge aligned with the Top Flange of the Leader Box (no notched out like corner but a smooth corner). Little stronger and should be better for flashing into the trough with the roofing membrane…
