SideRider Copper Gutter Brackets Hangers for 5 inch Half Round Gutters.

Normally we keep our posts short but for this one we will go a bit more in depth.
These Brackets are made to fit Berger Brothers 5″ Standard Half Rounds. They are designed for 4/12 pitch Rafter Angle. There are 32 that mount to the right side of the Rafter and 2 that will mount to the left side.

You will notice that a few of the brackets have the rear fold over tab kind of started to fold over the rear of the Gutter. This is important for many reasons. First if the tabs are not Pre Folded – it is sometime difficult to get them to fold as you may not be able to get your fingers on the top of the tab when gutter is hung at higher elevation. Second and very important is that Pre Folding the tabs – by inserting a small piece of gutter into the bracket and seating the nose against the top edge of the front side of the bracket and simply then folding the tab – Lets the Gutter Lock into the Bracket! You can see in the last 3 pictures in the gallery the gutter tilted at various angles and the bracket remains in place. The reason this is important is that there is no need to do dry lines etc. to mount the brackets to the rafters and then have to insert the gutter into the brackets. Simply space the brackets on the Gutter so they are close to position to where the rafters are and then attach the first bracket to the high side pitch and then move to the next or even the middle of the gutter to then slide the next bracket to the rafter and run the screws. Etc. Etc. till all brackets are attached to the Rafters and Front Screws are attached to the Gutter. This system makes the installation very easy and cuts out a lot of time trying to get brackets only lined up properly without a gutter in them for easy reference for elevation and projection.
