So today We just Wasted over $300.00!

What started as a cleanup around the shop today and looking for items we could add to our store (Over Runs and such from old production jobs) we found these two Downspout Cleanouts in a box on a back shelf….

At first we thought to add them to the Clearance Area at our Store…they are like Brand New (maybe a couple finger prints).
But then the idea of selling them reminded us of why we stopped selling them years ago. We used to sell them as an alternative to our AutoClears as they are cheaper – so more affordable at the onset. Our thought process at that time was – Why Lose a Potential Sale over a Price Point – Just Get A Sale – Right?  But  if you are not familiar with Actual Downspout Sizes (American vs. European) they can be a little bit difficult to install – unless you are a Contractor and know what you have to do to make them fit to American Downspouts. Plus then there is the Maintenance…and the Maintenance….and the forever ongoing Maintenance that they carry along with them.  Only took a few sales before we realized this wasn’t the best way to go for both Us and the Customers we sold them to. So long  story short – we reviewed our sales strategy (nixed the idea of just grabbing a sale) and we made the decision to simply cease sales of these items. So these product samples were then simply put in a box and placed on a shelf…
